How Spearhead’s Patented Ink Regulator Helps Control Ink Flow
Ink control can make a big difference when you're tattooing. Excess ink collecting at the end of a cartridge can bead around the tip, splatter, and make it harder to see the area you're working on.
That’s why Spearhead tattoo cartridges feature our patented Ink Regulator technology.
What Is the Spearhead Ink Regulator?
The Ink Regulator is a small opening built directly into the tip of the cartridge.
Its purpose is simple: help regulate ink at the tip while the cartridge is in use.
Rather than allowing excess ink to collect and bead around the end of the cartridge, the Ink Regulator helps manage the ink and reduce unwanted buildup.
Less Beading. Less Splatter.
When excess ink collects at the cartridge tip, it can form droplets or splatter as the needles move.
Spearhead's patented design helps reduce this by regulating the ink around the tip, resulting in:
- Less ink beading at the cartridge tip
- Reduced ink splatter
- Better control of ink at the tip
- A cleaner tattooing experience
- Better visibility while working
Designed for Tattoo Artists
Small design details can have a noticeable impact during a tattoo.
The Ink Regulator was developed to address a simple problem tattoo artists regularly experience: controlling excess ink at the cartridge tip.
It's one of the technologies we've incorporated into Spearhead cartridges as we continue developing tattoo cartridges around stability, control, and real-world performance.
Less beading. Less splatter. Better ink control.
